WORK DAYS SEPTEMBER 6 & 27
How do we get all of the yarn, needles, hooks, books, magazines and patterns organized for The Big Stitch? Work days! There are two in September and there is so much work to do thanks to a couple of fabulous donations! And we have lots of fun too! Come join us on Tuesday, September 6 (just a couple of days away!) and Tuesday, September 27 from 10 am – 2 pm in the library at FiftyForward Knowles. Lunch will be provided each day as well as yarn to wind, needles and hooks to sort, and donated granny squares to put together. Please let me know if you can come. kandctn@gmail.com
FREE CROCHET CLASSES IN SEPTEMBER
Crochet classes will be offeredTuesday evenings September 6, 13, 20, 27 from 5-7 pm at FiftyForward Knowles, 174 Rains Ave. Each class builds on the one before so please plan to attend each session. All materials are provided. Email

HEY KNITTERS! While the crochet classes are going on, I’m going to be knitting. Want to join me? — especially those of you who have taken knitting during a Tuesday night class series that might be stuck on something and need to get going again. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a class for new students but a helpful time for those who need it!
KNITTING INSTRUCTORS NEEDED
We are teaching knitting at the Richland Park Public LibraryOctober 4, 11, 18 and 25. After the huge turnout for crochet classes at the Hendersonville Library in August, we’ve scheduled knitting at Richland Park in October. Sessions will go from
5:30 pm – 7:30 pmeach
Tuesday evening. Email
kandctn@gmail.com if you can help. The address is 4711 Charlotte Ave, 37209. The class will be limited to 15 students so three instructors would be ideal.
Dear Friends –
Gratitude. That’s what I have an overwhelming feeling of because of you.
I needed to get all the information from the instructors of Big Stitch University early and everyone did before my deadline!
We needed someone to teach the students at Waldorf Home School and Jo Meyer stepped up and is taking care of the entire class series.
More than anticipated students showed up at the Hendersonville Library and Carol Paskewitz, Anne Massey, Sharon Melton, Wanda Powers and Linda Unruh worked it out even adding another Saturday session in September to accommodate everyone.
ALL of the times for State Fair booth coverage are filled!
At the last work day, ten ladies came and worked hours to get donations ready to sell at the October Big Stitch Boutique.
I can’t wait to see everyone at the October Big Stitch! You all inspire me with your willingness to help, positive attitude, fabulous donations and incredible ideas! The October event is #32. Here’s to 32 more!!!!
