Donation season has begun — the most fun I have all year! This week deliveries have gone to: Newborns in Need, The Undercover Project, Room In The Inn, Salvation Army, The ARK, TennesseeOncology/Pearl Point. This weekend there will be more! There are still 35 tubs full of hats, scarves and blankets to sort, package and deliver. An update will be in next week’s newsletter. Be proud of yourself for contributing your time and talents to help our community!
And please note the thank you from Paul in Robertson County. We use funds from Boutique sales at The Big Stitch to purchase socks.

LITTLE HATS, BIG HEARTS
|
![]() ![]() Once again, the American Heart Association is asking for hats for babies. This tiny pop of red helps raise awareness about congenital heart defects. Go here to find more information and patterns. The deadline is early this year. If you’d like me to deliver them, I will need them by Monday, December 10. Please follow the criteria that is laid out on their website. Hats can be dropped off at several locations throughout the community. If you have hats, please email me at kandctn@gmail.com to find out which drop off location is the best for you.

Dear Friends –
It is so thrilling to have so many tubs of goodies to share with the community. Around 100 scarves are being held back for the Chase the Chill event that will take place later this month (date not set yet).
![]() We need more chemo hats. We are able to supply the community with thousands of hats for cold weather but we receive very few chemo hats. These hats basically use the same patterns and can be knitted or crocheted. The only difference is the yarn that can be used. And, all hats need to be constructed in the round so that there is not a seam. In the next few weeks I will be sending additional information on approved yarns and patterns. Do you have any to share?
