Crocheted baskets are so fun to make and are super useful! We’ll go over the basics of making a stiff/sturdy round basket with yarn in class. The handouts will give pointers and resources/patterns for rectangular, square, and other shaped baskets, and how to use other materials such as macrame cord, rope, fabric and other materials to make stiffer baskets.

Materials: Bring 2-3 balls of worsted weight yarn and an I/5.5 mm or J/6 mm hook OR 2-3 balls of baby/sport weight yarn and an H/5 mm or I/5.5 mm hook. Also bring 1-2 stitch markers, tape measure, & something to write with.
