Event Details

Instructor: Anne Hine
Class Size: 12
Class Level: Intermediate

A loosely knit duster using simple rectangular shapes and tons of spare scrap yarn! The color-change tie offs at the end of the rows are integrated into the funky side fringe, enabling you to use up small bits of yarn without having to weave in a ton of ends 🙂 This simple design utilizes the drape of the garter stitch fabric to create a flattering sweater using a few simple measurements.   Students need to know the garter stitch and how to bind off.

Homework: Make a square for a sample to work on: cast on 30 stitches on #10 needles using worsted weight yarn and garter stitch for about 10″s. Do not cut yarn and leave on needles.

Materials:  yarn sewing needle and scrap yarn.
