MONDAY YARN TANGLERS – WILSON COUNTY FAIR

The Yarn Tanglers meet Monday’s at 10 am at the Hobby Lobby in Hermitage.

CHARITY CONNECTION – PLARN
|
 
We are working on the Charity Connection page of the website, adding patterns and instructions. If you, or a group you are in is interested in helping make plarn for homeless mats, go here on the website for instructions. There are also Facebook links for both the Murfreesboro and Nashville groups. Even if you don’t make plarn, please check out these instructions. Donating bags at The Big Stitch that are already flattened and smooth instead of wadded up would be a big help in the process!!!

This three drawer storage container is included in both the knit and crochet grand door prize!
Each also comes with casters if you prefer a rolling cart.

| How can I win one of these you ask??? A special Big Door Prize ticket will be given to each person for every 10 items that you donate at The Big Stitch October 13. You will choose which Big Door Prize drawing you would like to enter, knit or crochet. Sorry, dishcloths and granny squares* will not be included in this special drawing. We are looking for hats (we need everything except baby hats unless the are going with a blanket) baby blankets, lapghans, afghans, scarves, car seat blankets (no preemie items needed at this time). We get such a HUGE request for hats in the winter that this is what we need the most. Neutral colors are best. Chemo hats too. Granny square sets* will still be accepted as well as dishcloths, but they won’t be eligible for this special drawing.
* Granny squares will be accepted if 5 sets of at least 9 squares are turned in.
